Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Search input entered into a sponsored search tool is processed by the provider operating that tool. Otero County Court Docket does not operate the provider's records system or retain a separate court-record database from those searches.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to the operator may be retained to respond or maintain records of the communication. It is not sold as a court-record product and is disclosed only when a valid legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal server and analytics information can include an IP address, browser version, device and operating-system details, referral source, pages viewed, visit duration, and timestamps.
- IP address and basic connection data
- Browser, device, and operating-system information
- Page requests, referring page, and visit timestamps
- Aggregate performance and traffic measurements
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies may help measure traffic and retain basic preferences. Browser settings can limit cookies, although features supported by outside providers may then work differently. Analytics reports are used in aggregate to maintain performance and understand page use.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and aggregate information may be used to operate, secure, and improve the service, route an entered search to its provider, diagnose errors, measure page performance, and support advertising or referral arrangements where applicable.
No Court-Record Data on File
Otero County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of Otero case records. Official court records are held by the Otero District Court Clerk, Alamogordo Magistrate Court Clerk, or the relevant municipal clerk. New Mexico public access to judicial records is governed by NMSA 14-2-1, the Inspection of Public Records Act, the appropriate judicial custodian, and Rule 1-079 NMRA for court-record access and protected identifiers. Those rules do not make this private reference resource a court custodian.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside search providers control their own collection, retention, payment, and privacy practices. Information submitted to a provider is subject to that provider's policy. Review those terms before entering information or purchasing a service.
Links to Other Websites
Links to New Mexico courts, clerks, municipal offices, and other official sources take a visitor to independent services. Their privacy notices apply after leaving this service. Advertising partners can also use their own technology under their own policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be processed by infrastructure, analytics, advertising, or search partners that support a visit or query, and may be disclosed when a valid court order or other legal requirement applies.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information under the operator's control. No internet transmission or stored system can be guaranteed completely secure, so visitors should avoid sending sensitive court identifiers through ordinary email.
Users Under 18
This service is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact the operator if information from a minor is believed to have been submitted.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act and Rule 1-079 NMRA govern access to official judicial records, not a visitor's personal information held by a private website. A visitor may ask about personal information the operator holds, request a correction where appropriate, request deletion where lawful, or ask about the processing of submitted information.
Updates to This Policy
Changes take effect when the revised policy is published here. The current version should be reviewed periodically because privacy practices or integrated services can change.
